Dorothy, an environmental engineering student whose real interest lies in graffiti art. the bar had acquired an old pool table and it was a perfect canvas for her to paint on. trying to keep in style with the interior but with a added touch of extravagance, Dorothy had come up with a design, to turn a rundown pool table into a beautiful thing to play on and part of a good-looking interior. a hidden message was written on her artwork, and can revealed by uv light. after 6 months this pool table was sold to an interested party. this is a simple project to add value to old discarded objects that still functions. not a lot of people have rooms to house a pool table or other large pieces of equipment, we see it beneficial to add some colour into the used good exchange networks.

because of pressures from society, Dorothy stalled her pursuit of a life as a graffiti artist. which is a fate quite common in high cost cities like Hong Kong, and went into environmental engineering. going to school hasn't dampened her spirit, and she spent much of her own time learning, seeing, and doing graffiti where she could. fortunately, maybe, we found her and gave her a chance to at least have an outlet for an unfulfilled dream. during her work on the pool table, she was reckless, and left the site unprotected; paint dripped onto the bar floor and on other things. she had to scrap them clean. nearing the completion and deadline, in her carelessness she spilt paint onto the pool table felt; and she panicked. everybody makes mistakes. trying to turn a mistake into opportunity, we came up with ways to cover up the smudge with art though with the deadline it was unrealistic and so we resorted to installing a new felt. Hong Kong is not relaxed about graffiti, she must understand that she is an artist, not a vandal. and as she exchange knowledge and friendship with different artist groups, we hope this philosophy prevails.
